The Bassoon Reed Blank is constructed from tube cane that has been hand-selected for quality and symmetry. Various shapes and levels of cane hardness available.

Thickness at back: .9-1.0mm* 

*This variance is due to scraping and filing work to clean up the collar area and remove extra material leftover from profiling. If you would prefer this portion of the reed to remain unfinished, please request so at checkout.

Thickness at fold: .55mm
